ADHD affects 11% of children ages 4-17. Taekwondo is a fun and effective way to help manage ADHD, it helps students improve on their focus, build confidence, and gives them goals to work toward. Learning how to set and achieve goals, following rules, gaining self-control, and setting a routine is key! Our staff loves to work patiently with all of our students! By mastering each new Taekwondo skill at his or her own pace, your child will learn to overcome frustration and gain the patience they need in order to stick with each task until it’s completed. Our star program is a positive reinforcement for following instructions and maintaining good behavior at home and at school.

At our school it is important to build social skills while building relationships that will support and cheer each other on during their martial arts journey! A positive atmosphere of encouragement can help your child make friends more easily and be a team player—invaluable skills that last a lifetime.


Our trained instructors are prepared to help your child develop physically, mentally, and socially to combat bullying and peer pressure. Bullying is a major issue that can cause many negative consequences, but when our students are yelling at taekwondo they are building confidence. They learn to maintain a confident posture which means they are learning walk with their head up high, and they will have the confidence to walk away in an uncomfortable situation and speak about it with an adult. As you can see confidence is KEY!

Parents and guardians want what is best for their children and at the top of everyone's list is their childs good health! After all, a healthy childhood helps set kids up for a healthier and happier adulthood, and the earlier these good habits are established the better. Unfortunately our youth is spending more and more time in front of screens and creating poor eating habits that can lead to an unhealthy lifestyle. So lets change up the gear and kick off healthy habits now with taekwondo! Martial arts training with us is an activity that they will truly enjoy and not dread. By participating in our fun classes they will have a variety of training activities while also building self defense skills, improving strength, and endurance!
